Análisis del tratamiento informativo de los atentados del 11-M en los diarios ABC, El País, El Mundo

Abstract

El atentado islamista, hoy en día, sigue teniendo muchísima repercusión. Son muchas personas las que han perdido a un familiar, un amigo o un conocido en las estaciones madrileñas. Fue un atentado que estuvo muy politizado desde un primer momento, por un lado, debido a la proximidad de las elecciones, que se celebraban apenas 72 horas después, y por otro lado, porlas distintas acusaciones en torno a la responsabilidad del atentado, que se hacían los distintos partidospolíticos, pero principalmente: el Partido Popular y el PSOE. En este trabajo he analizado tres diarios que tienen una gran tirada en España, El Mundo, ABCy El País,con la finalidad de vislumbrar la perspectiva que ofreció cada uno de ellos de los atentados. Para ello, he analizado con exactitud los editoriales de los diarios, en los que se ha podido ver claramente la línea ideológica del medio, laresponsabilidad deETA o Al-Qaeda del atentado según el medio. Además, he analizado el contenido de los medios, las fuentes de información que utilizaban, y el papel que jugaban a las informaciones del Gobierno en los diarios, entre otros análisis.Este análisis ha permitido comprobar la existencia de las llamadas “teorías de la conspiración”. Estas teorías fueron alimentadas por los algunos medios de comunicación de derecha, bien sea la radio, la televisión o bien la prensa, verificando así que se tratabade un posicionamiento ideológico y partidista dirigido.No solo he analizado el protagonismo que tuvo el atentado en estos tres diarios, también el papel que tuvo en otros medios nacionales como la cadena SER o TeleMadrid, y la trascendencia internacionaldel mismo en los medios anglosajones y franceses

The Islamist attack, today, continues to have a huge impact. Many people have lost a family member, friend or acquaintance in Madrid's stations.It was an attack that was highly politicized from the outset, on the one hand, due to the proximity of the elections, which were held just 72 hours later, and on the 2other hand, to the different accusations regarding the responsibility for the attack, which the different political parties were made, but mainly: the Popular Party and the PSOE.In this work I have analyzed three newspapers that have a large circulation in Spain; El Mundo, ABC and El País, with the aim of glimpsing the perspective offered by each of them of the attacks. To do this, I have accurately analyzed the editorials of the newspapers, in which it has been possible to clearly see the ideological line of the media, the responsibility of ETA or Al-Qaeda for the attack according to the media. In addition, I have analyzed the content of the media, the sources of information they used, and the role played by government information in newspapers, among other analyzes.This analysis has proved the existence of the so-called “conspiracy theories”. These theories were fed by some right-wing media,be it radio, television or the press, thus verifying that it was an ideological and partisan position directed.I have not only analyzed the role that the attack had in these three newspapers, but also the role it had in other national media such as the SER or TeleMadrid network, and its international significance in the Anglo-Saxon and French media.
