This study was funded thanks to the project of the state plan PID2019-109002RB-I00 and the Junta de Andalucía ProyExcel_00516. In both projects, the beneficial properties of wild olive oil at the retinal level are described. Specifically, these data refer to the antioxidant properties of extracellular vesicles obtained from the plasma of animals treated with diets enriched in wild olive oil and their effect on retinal pigment epithelium cells subjected to a hypertensive phenotype. The data present the development of a formulation based on acebuchina (ACE) oil nanoemulsions and its beneficial properties on the cornea and retina of animals with arterial hypertension induced by L-NAME. The data generated were collected between 2021 and 2023.
