The generalization of a procedure, developed by Ting1 , for the stress characterization at the neighbourhood of an anisotropic elastic multimaterial corner is presented. Using Stroh's formalism and the concept of the transfer matrix, a computer program has been implemented in order to obtain the order of the stress singularities and the behaviour of displacements and stresses fields in a very efficient way. Assuming perfect bonding between materials, all combinations of boundary conditions including free and clamped are considered, as well as all of them bonded. The procedure includes the possibility of taking into acount mathematically degenerated materials, with isotropic materials as an example. A 6x6 eigenvalue system is solved .for all-bonded configurations, no matter how many materials are included. In the case of combinations of free/clamped the size is reduced to 3 x3. Numerical results are presented.
