Agricultura, paisaje y patrimonio territorial. Los paisajes de la agricultura vistos como patrimonio

Abstract

Este artículo plantea unas primeras reflexiones al valor patrimonial de los paisajes agrarios a partir de tres argumentos: 1) la atención institucional que éstos merecen en convenios, leyes y programas de carácter patrimonial y/o paisajístico, 2) la aproximación a su hibridismo, diversidad y riqueza merced a la consideración de sus múltiples significantes y significados y 3) su carácter de condensador cultural recalando en los procesos que explican las formas de ver, entender y hacer el paisaje por sucesivas generaciones de agricultores y que refuerzan los sentimientos de arraigo entre la población y su territorio.

This paper raises some reflections about the value of agricultural landscapes as heritage based on three arguments: 1) their reflection on institutional agreements, laws and landscape or heritage programs, 2) the focus on their hybrid character, their diversity and richness based on their signifier and signified, and 3) their character as cultural condensers concentrating on the processes that explain the ways of seeing, understanding and making landscape by successive generations of farmers. These ways strengthen the feelings of belonging between population and space.
