The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship among dimension of personality, severity of blood-phobia and therapeutic results. The 39 patients with blood-phobia (aged 15-30 years) were assessed at pretreatment, after treatment and at 6 months follow-up. Results showed: a) a significant association among anxiety, tension, self-esteem and constancy in the severity of blood-phobia in the pretreatment, b) the seriousness of blood-phobia in the pretreatment is the variable with a more elevated explanatory weight in the severity of phobia, after treatment and at 6 months follow-up, and c) small scores in the triple system of response, apprehension, tension, anxiety, disfunctional beliefs and level of interference, as soon as a high level of emotional stability, and self-esteem at the pretreatment showed a bigger probability of improvement at 6 months follow-up.
