Verdad, objetividad y exactitud en la Información

Abstract

He escogido el tema: Verdad, objetividad y exactitud en la Información Periodística porque creo que los medios de comunicación actuales han olvidado que la verdad es un elemento esencial y fundamental en la información, pero tan importante como es este concepto lo es: la justicia última, que es a la que se debe aspirar a la hora de informar. Los mass media han olvidado los valores para los que fueron configurados y hay que intentar reactivar las conciencias de los profesionales para que vuelvan a creer en ellos e intentar inculcar a las nuevas generaciones que el periodismo justo también es posible.

I have chosen the subject "Truth, objectivity and accuracy in Journalism" because I consider that the present media have forgotten that truth is an essential and fundamental element in information and, as important as this concept is the last justice, which is that to inspire when giving information. Mass media have forgotten the values for which they were created and we have to try to reactivate the awareness of the professionals to believe in them again and to try to instil the new generations that a fair journalism is also possible.
