dc.description.abstract | Spain is a leading country in High Speed trains, where it has been developing more than 25 years of largescale projects, currently exceeding 3000Km of layout. Since 2010, we became the first country in Europe (and
second in the world after China) in kilometers of High Speed lines, connecting many of the main cities in
Spain. In spite of this, the high-speed map planned for the country is not yet complete, so projects of this
nature continue to be carried out.
An important part of these projects is electrification. Electrifying long rail lines requires, among other things, a
large number of structural elements such as poles and porticos, which are used to support the catenary.
The porticos are large elements with a high cost, not only for their steel content, but also for the manufacture,
transport and assembly of these heavy structures.
In this work the analysis of a gantry of 26m length (for 5 tracks, supporting the 20 wires of 8 catenaries) will
be carried out. It is the largest within the non-cable-stayed and its poles have a height of 10m.
The calculations to be made include the Static Analysis (verification of the Ultimate Limit and Service States
for all the hypothesis of actions) and Dynamic (natural frequency, vibrations), as well as the sizing of the
foundations. | es |
