Incidencias en la expresión gráfica aplicada a la edificación del servicio profesional de monitorización de proyectos de construcción en el contexto del project management

Abstract

In the construction sector, project monitoring is a professional service associated with project management. Its purpose is to ensure that the project objectives are met and that external financial funds are used correctly. This external service has never been introduced in a widespread way and its scope is therefore usually limited to monitoring the traditional risk factors associated with building works: cost, execution period and quality (particularly the first two). Consequently, it is likely that when the real estate sector is reactivated and the advantages of this system are recognized, the monitoring process will be extended to other factors hitherto regarded as secondary from the point of view of the profitability of the investment. This new set of factors should include the graphic part of the project document.
