Some problems related to the numerical solution of the Percus–Yevick equation in the critical region for a nontruncated potential are discussed. It is shown that the numerical method employed by the authors in a previous paper produces an abrupt decay of h(r) and an anticipation of the asymptotic behavior of c(r), when r tends to the cutoff distance R. |
