BIM. | es |
dc.description.abstract | In this study we analyze the application of DYNAMO linked to REVIT during the creation of BIM projects. In
particular, we focus on its application in Civil Engineering sector. The objective is to demonstrate the
advantajes that it offers and show where we can use this software.
For this reason, we have compile information about this software in order to find out its applications and its
work philosophy.
In addition, due to the significance of parameters in a BIM project we have studied how REVIT manages
them. We have to know it perfectly because a BIM model has information associated through those parameters
and a 3D model doesn´t. That is the difference between a BIM Project and a 3D model.
Once this investigation has been concluded, we choose the most interesting applications to generate BIM
elements, export and import useful information not only during a project redaction but also in its execution and
its subsequent management.
Those applications have been checked with REVIT projects according to REVIT terminology. The main
objective is to use this examples in complete BIM models in order to make easier masive data management,
generation of complex geometry elements… and automate repetitive tasks.
Finally, we stated further investigation lines and conclusions deduced from this study in relation to the
application of this software (DYNAMO) in BIM models | es |
