Frente a su ética nuestra estética : el arte como mecanismo de resisitencia

Abstract

Este trabajo de Fin de Máster parte de la investigación teórico-práctica del arte como mecanismo de resistencia y creador de nuevas subjetividades. Partiendo de un análisis de la caída del Estado del Bienestar en el siglo XX, se busca analizar cómo la caída del concepto de lo colectivo es suplantada por la noción de individuo poniendo en crisis varios aspectos de la sociedad; entre ellos el arte. El arte y la cultura tienen la capacidad de generar realidades simbólicas mediante prácticas y ejecuciones concretas que buscan ser transformadoras. El arte opera en este caso como promotor de nuevas conciencias, nuevas preguntas y nuevas estéticas. Mediante el estudio y la investigación del concepto de Rizoma de Deleuze y Guattari se busca abordar de forma práctica y tórica tipos de construcciones no piramidales (arbóreas) buscando combatir la tendencia al individualismo característico del sistema neoliberal, apostando a que otro tipo de organización (artísticas y sociales) es posible. Finalmente se aborda el concepto de la gentrificación - consecuencia de los regímenes liberales - como un modo de mercantilización de la vida; aquí el arte cumple un rol fundamental: buscando ser una contracorriente a esta tendencia. Las producciones artísticas deben dar cuenta de otras realidades, muchas veces invisibles y carentes de voz. El arte resulta un proyecto político cuando propone nuevos tipos de relaciones. El apartado teórico y práctico de este trabajo data sobre la investigación y la experimentación del arte como posibilidad de resistencia colectiva, centrándose en las producciones artísticas como mecanismos de denuncias, buscando proponer complicidades que permitan animarnos a pensar (y producir) de otra manera.

This Master’s Thesis work comes from a theoretical-practical investigation of Art as a mechanism of resistance, new subjectivities creative. Based on an analysis around the 20th century’s Welfare State, the aim of this paper is to analyze how the concept of collective is fallen and supplanted by the notion of individualism, which puts into crisis several aspects of society (art for example). Art and culture have the hability to generate symbolic realities through specific practices and executions seeking to be transformative. Art operates in this case as a promoter of new consciousnesses, new questions and new aesthetics. A research of the Rizoma concept of Deleuze and Guattari is made trying to do an approach, in a practical and a theoretical way, to different types of non-pyramidal constructions (arboreal) seeking to combat the individualistic tendency characteristic of neoliberal systems. At the same time betting that another type of organization (artistic and social) is possible. Finally, the concept of gentrification - liberal regimes consequence - is tackled as a way of commercialization. Art plays here a fundamental role: looking to be a countercurrent to this fact. The artworks, the artistic productions, must tell other realities, realities often invisible and lacking voice. Art is political when it proposes new types of relationships. The theoretical and practical section of this paper is about the investigation and experimentation of art as a possibility of collective resistance and it focuses its attention on artistic productions as mechanisms of protests seeking to suggest complicities that allow all us to encourages ourselves to think (and produce) different.
