Investigación en corrales de vecinos enTriana

Abstract

El barrio de Triana posee unos valores patrimoniales que definen en su totalidad el tipo de sociedad que habita en él. Atendiendo al tema social y cultural que existe de esta área de la ciudad de Sevilla es posible crear una base de conceptos claves que se relacionan intimamente con el estilo de vida, la distribución espacio y el marco de tiempo en el que conviven los habitantes en esta tipología residencial que estamos investigando, los corrales de vecinos. Afectados a mediados del siglo XX por la especulación inmboliaria que se desarrolló en este barrio debido al auge y el interés por los altos cargos del Ayuntamiento de Sevilla por revalorizar esta aprovechable zona de la ciudad de Sevilla, se realizaron diferentes procesos de reubicacion de los habitantes que residían en estos corrales de manera temporal, rehabilitando muchos de ellos para mejorar estructural y constructivamente la salubridad de estas viviendas, consideradas muchas de ellas “infraviviendas” y por otra parte, demoliendo un gran número de ellos con el fin de construir nuevas viviendas destinadas a una clase social media alta, en contraposición a la que convivía en su origen. La consecuencia de ello es la pérdida de los espacios representativos de este conjunto urbano. En Triana, los corrales de vecinos, han supuesto en toda su historia un importante concepto patrimonial. El estudio de casos, para el adecuado entendimiento de la forma de vida actual en ella nos proporciona diferentes conclusiones para concretar si estos procesos fueron apropiados o no.

The neighborhood of Triana possesses patrimonial values that define in their entirety the type of society that inhabits it. Taking into account the social and cultural theme that exists in this area of the city of Seville, it is possible to create a base of key concepts that relate intimately with the lifestyle, the distribution of space and the time frame in which the inhabitants live together in this residential typology that we are investigating, the neighborhood pens. Affected in the mid-twentieth century by the real estate speculation that developed in this neighborhood due to the rise and the interest for the senior officials of the town hall of Seville to revalue this useable area of the city of Seville, different processes of relocation of the inhabitants who lived in these pens temporarily were carried out, rehabilitating many of them to structurally and constructively improve the health of these homes, many of them considered "substandard" and on the other hand, demolishing a large number of them in order to build new housing to a higher social class, in contrast to the one that coexisted in its origin. The consequence of this, is the loss of the representative spaces of this urban group. In Triana, the neighbor pens have meant an important patrimonial concept throughout its history. The case study, for the adequate understanding of the current way of life in it, provides different conclusions to determine if these processes were appropriate or not.
