Elastic cross sections for the scattering of ⁶He projectiles by ²⁰⁸Pb at energies around the Coulomb barrier measured at the Cyclotron Research Center of Louvain la Neuve (Belgium) have been analyzed using a simple analytic expression for the elastic cross section obtained in a semiclassical model. The results are consistent with recent Optical Model calculations. |
