Se utilizaron como palabras claves “Apexification” and “Revascularization” or “Apexogenesis” and “Inmature Permanent teeth” and “Treatment”.
Introduction The pulp affectation caused by different etiologies that are present in permanent teeth that have not culminated the root development provoke teeth that do not have a proportion coronal radicular, besides a very short root, they present roots with very thin walls which lead to a future fracture of the affected tooth; There are currently different therapies to treat mentioned pathology among which we have apexification and pulpal regeneration, which will be described in this master final work. Materials and methods An electronic search was conducted in the PubMed database (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov), Scopus (www.scopus.com), Cochrane (www.cochrane.org), to identify clinical research related to evaluation Of the treatments as the results of the same, by the apexification and revascularization in permanent teeth with open apex. "Apexification" and "Revascularization" or "Apexogenesis" and "Immature Permanent teeth" and "Treatment" were used as keywords. Objectives General objective To evaluate the effectiveness of endodontic treatments of apexification and apicogenesis in permanent teeth with open apex. Hypothesis H1: Calcium hydroxide apexification has better clinical outcomes than apical barrier apexification of MTA and revascularization. Results The literature search of clinical studies about open apical permanent teeth presenting pulpal disease and needing treatment have been found 11 clinical trials of apexification treatments, 51 clinical trials of teeth treated with pulp revascularization and 6 comparative clinical studies Between apexification and revascularization. Conclusions Further studies are needed with a larger sample size and a follow-up time of several years that have a protocol in the treatment of the teeth to be treated, to be able to affirm that regenerative therapy is what should be applied at present, due to their clinical and biological results.es
