La semiótica en la investigación y la producción artísticas.

Abstract

El objetivo de este taller ha sido introducir a los alumnos en un método de trabajo teórico-práctico, util para la investigación y la docencia, al mismo tiempo que para la propia producción artística. Utilizando como técnica la fotografía instantánea, asociada a la electrografía, y como método de análisis la semiótica, se realizaron varios trabajos sobre el icono, con la participación directa de los alumnos. A pesarde la limitación temporal, se completó el proceso desde la obtención del icono, a su transformación en mural, la presentacióncomo instalación (protagonizada por el mural) y su transformación nuevamente en icono mediante la fotografía Polaroid. Paralelamente, los alumnos experimentaron con las posibilidades de transformación de la imagen a través de la electrografía.

The aim of this workshop was to introduce students into both theoretic and practical working method, useful forresearching and teaching as well as for the artistic production. Using the technique ofthe snapshot together with electrography, and the semiotics as analysis method, several works about the icon were carried out with the direct participation of the students. In spite of time limitation, the process was completed: from obtaining the icon, its transformation into a mural, its appearance as intallation (a more leading mural) and its transformation again into an icon by means of a Polaroid camera. In a parallel way, students experimented with the possibilities ofimage transformation through electrography.
