The cross section for inelastic scattering of Borromean halo nuclei from protons is evaluated using the Multiple Scattering expansion of the Total transition amplitude (MST) formalism. Differential cross sections and energy spectra are shown for p-6 He at 700 MeV/nucleon. The role of spin flip excitations is analyzed. |
