Una "Adoración de los pastores" de Hendrick de Clerck en el convento de Las Teresas de Sevilla

Abstract

Damos a conocer una nueva obra del pintor flamenco Hendrick de Clerck (ca. 1570-1630). La pintura representa la “Adoración de los pastores” y se conserva en el convento de las Teresas de Sevilla. El análisis de sus características técnicas, estilísticas e iconográficas nos permite atribuir dicha pieza al pincel de este maestro manierista, máximo exponente de la escuela pictórica de Bruselas.

We present a new work by the Flemish painter Hendrick de Clerck (ca. 1570-1630). The painting depicts the “Adoration of the shepherds”and it ́spreserved in the convent of Teresas in Seville. The analysis of his technical, stylistic and iconographic characteristics allows us to attribute this piece to the distinctive paintbrush of this Mannerist master, who is the greatest exponent of the Brussels Painting School.
