Las pseudocondicionales: intento de clasificación

Abstract

Las oraciones que presentan el esquema Si A, B han sido tradicionalmente consideradas como frases condicionales, pero a veces el valor de condición no es totalmente evidente y así, por ejemplo, se ha hablado de "condicionales de la enunciación" para incluir en este apartado ciertas construcciones en las que parece estar ausente la noción de condicionalidad, haciendo extensible dicho concepto al nivel de la enunciación. Sin embargo, existen otras oraciones que responden a la estructura básica de si A, B y cuyo valor condicional es mucho más discutible, por lo que no existe consenso entre los gramáticos en cuanto a su consideración y clasificación. Se trata de aquellas construcciones que denominaremos pseudocondicionales, construcciones que necesitan una caracterización teórica y un estudio más concreto, pues frecuentemente son rechazadas como objeto de estudio por los investigadores de la lengua.

The sentences that present the scheme si A, B have been considered traditionally as conditional sentences, but the value of condition is not sometimes totally evident and so, for example, it has been spoken of "conditional of the enunciation" to include in this section different constructions in which seems to be absent the idea of conditionality, doing extensible this concept at the level of the enunciation. Nevertheless, there are other sentences that correspond to the basic structure of si A, B and whose conditional value is much more arguable, for which there is not accord among the grammarians as for its considerations and classification. It is a matter of those constructions that will be called pseudoconditionals, constructions that need a theoretical distinction and a more definite research, since they are often rejected as object of study by the investigators of language.
