Abstract

Las tensiones desarrollo-patrimonio, forman parte del origen de ambos términos en el s. XIX. El modelo de desarrollo capitalista, genera por oposición el concepto de patrimonio. La pérdida de identidad que experimenta el hombre industrial, unida al sentimiento de la historia como fin, transforma los edificios históricos en elementos esenciales. Surge entonces el concepto de patrimonio, en un contexto en el cual el hombre busca sus señas de identidad en el pasado. La evolución de ambos términos ha ido haciéndolos cada vez más complejos y complementarios, circunstancia que no siempre tiene esa lectura desde el sistema, que tienden a entenderlos como compartimentos estancos. Esta comunicación desarrolla este enfrentamiento sobre un caso concreto, el de Santiponce.

The tensions development-patrimony, comprise of the origin of both terms in the s. XIX. The capitalist model of development, generates by opposition the patrimony concept. The loss of identity that the industrial man undergoes, united to the feeling of history like aim, transforms the historical buildings into essential elements. The concept arises then from patrimony, in a context in which the man looks for his signs of identity in the past. The evolution of both terms has been making them more and more complex and complementary, circumstance that not always has that reading from the system, which they tend to understand them like compartment watertight. This communication develops east confrontation on a tactical mission, the one of Santiponce.
