Abstract

La atención a la infancia y a la juventud es un tema de investigación novedoso que está en el nacimiento de nuevos enfoques de la Historia de la Educación en España. Desde finales del siglo XIX hubo un movimiento que propugnaba la protección a los menores delincuentes y métodos reeducativos propios. Para cubrir este hueco nace la Congregación de los Terciarios Capuchinos de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores que funda Luis Amigó y que se extenderá por toda España con sus instituciones auxiliares de los Tribunales Tutelares de Menores.
