know the possible association between both constructs.
To do this, a sample of 155 participants from different professional sectors, ages and

two questionnaires, the Spanish version of the Authentic Leadership Questionnaire
(ALQ) for authentic leadership and the UWES-17, for engagement. Descriptive and
correlational analyzes were carried out. The results obtained showed a high level of
perceived authentic leadership as well as engagement in the participants. All the
hypotheses raised in the study were confirmed. In a generic way, authentic leadership
has a positive association with respect to engagement, that is, as the level of authentic
leadership increases, the level of engagement increases. More specifically, all the ALQ
factors are positively and significantly related to all the UWES-17 subscales. | es |
