Corrigendum to “Review of EU product energy efficiency policies: What have we achieved in 40 years?” [J. Clean. Prod. 421 (2023) 138442] (Journal of Cleaner Production (2023) 421, (S0959652623026008), (10.1016/j.jclepro.2023.138442))

Abstract

The authors regret to have noticed the following mistake to be corrected. The first sentence “In the global fight to limit climate change, the European Union (EU) achieved important reductions of its CO2 emissions of 45 % in 2019 compared to 1990 figures (IEA, 2021)” needs to be replaced by this one “In the global fight to limit climate change, the European Union (EU) achieved important reductions of its CO2 emissions of 27,4 % in 2019 compared to 1990 figures (IEA, 2021).” Moreover, the caption of Fig. 1 could be extended for clarification: “The share of consumption not covered by the products (e.g. 8 % in buildings, 16 % in industry and 23 % in transport) is not labelled.” The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. © 2024 The Author(s)
