Afraid of One’s Own Shadow

Abstract

Este trabajo se trata de un análisis crítico de la docencia impartida por el alumno del máster durante la realización de sus prácticas. En primer lugar, se lleva a cabo una descripción detallada y exhaustiva sobre los contenidos tratados a lo largo de este período de prácticas así como de la manera en la que esos contenidos han sido presentados a los alumnos. La importancia de las prácticas recae no solo en aquellos temas que el alumno considera más esenciales para impartir sino también el modo en el que el temario puede ser transmitido para que sea recibido por parte de los alumnos de una manera más sencilla y, a su vez, productiva. En segundo lugar, se hace referencia a todos aquellos inconvenientes o imprevistos que han tenido lugar durante la puesta en práctica. De esta manera, se hace hincapié en las dificultades que el alumno en prácticas ha tenido que solventar y que le han ofrecido una visión más realista de la docencia. Este es el punto más importante en la realización de las prácticas ya que es el que muestra la realidad de esta profesión. A pesar de que la preparación de las sesiones requiera esfuerzo y dedicación siempre existe la posibilidad de que haya algún contratiempo que obligue a cambiar la planificación inicial. En tercer lugar, se presentan todas aquellas alternativas que el alumno ha usado o podría haber experimentado en esa misma situación para así poder transmitir los contenidos de manera aún más eficaz y exitosa al alumnado. Esta experiencia permite aprender que siempre se deben contemplar diferentes opciones por si hay alguna dificultad en el aula. En resumen, este trabajo tiene como objetivo plasmar mi período de docencia dando la visión más realista y útil para el aprendizaje de esta profesión así como de ser capaz de adaptarse a cualquier circunstancia o adversidad.

This TFM offers a critical analysis of the teaching imparted by a Master's student during her period of teaching practice. In the first place, a detailed and comprehensive description is given of the contents covered in the course of this period as well as the way in which these contents were presented to the students. The importance of the practice resides in the contents that the student considers it most essential to teach, but also the way in which they can be transmitted so that it is received by the students in a clear and more productive way. Secondly, reference is made to all those inconveniences or unforeseen events that have occurred in the course of the teaching practice. In this way, the difficulties that the student in practice has had to solve are emphasized since they have offered him or her a more realistic vision of teaching. This is the most important point in carrying out the practices since it is the one that shows the reality of this profession. Despite the fact that the preparation of the sessions requires effort and dedication, there is always the possibility that there is a setback that forces us to change the initial planning. Thirdly, all those alternatives that the student has had recourse to or could have experienced in the same situation are presented in order to be able to transmit the contents efficiently and successfully to the students. This experience allows us to know that you should always consider different options in case there is an inconvenience in the classroom. In summary, this TFM this work aims to capture my teaching period giving the most realistic and useful vision for learning this profession as well as being able to adapt myself to any circumstance or adversity.
