Diseño de las obras geotécnicas para proyecto de la variante TF-5 en la circunvalación urbana de la Laguna (Tenerife)

Abstract

Este Trabajo Fin de Grado versa sobre un proyecto de aplicación real que se desarrollará en la isla de Tenerife (Canarias). En él, se pretende construir una nueva carretera para contribuir a una mayor fluidez en la autopista TF-5. Ésta es una de las autopistas que recorren perimetralmente la isla, y en esta zona el flujo de tráfico actual es muy denso, entre otras cuestiones por la cercanía de los municipios más poblados de toda la isla, Santa Cruz de Tenerife y La Laguna, y por servir como medio de acceso al aeropuerto de Tenerife (Los Rodeos), además de soportar el tráfico insular. Por este motivo, se proyecta esta nueva autopista que discurrirá por el sur del citado aeropuerto, a fin de contribuir a diversificar el tráfico insular, aliviando el existente en ese área. De esta forma, este Trabajo Fin de Grado contempla el estudio geológico y geotécnico de esa zona, y el diseño, encaje y comprobación de la sección transversal de 3 falsos túneles que se ubican en el enlace del oeste, donde confluyen la actual autopista TF-5 y la nueva en cuestión. Estos falsos túneles tienen diferente longitud y se realizarán utilizando el método “cut&cover”, con pantallas a cada lado de la sección y, para cerrar la superficie, se colocará una cercha metálica de unos 2 metros de canto, ubicándose sobre estas unas losas alveolares.

This Final Degree Project deals with a real application project that will be developed on the island of Tenerife (Canary Islands). O n it, it is intended to build a new road to contribute to greater fluidity on the TF 5 motor way. This is one of the highways that run along the perimeter of the island, and in this area the current traffic flow is very dense, among other reasons due to the proximity of the most populated municipalities on the entire island, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna, and for serving as a means of access to the Tenerife airport (Los Rodeos), in addition to supporting island traffic. For this reason, this new motorway is planned to run to the south of the aforementioned airport, in order to contribute to diversifying island traffic, relieving the existing one in that area. In this way, this Final Degree Project contemplates the geological and geotechnical study of that area, and the design, fit and check of the cross section of 3 false tunnels that are located on the we stern link, where the current TF 5 motorway and the new one in question converge. These false tunnels have different lengths and will be made using the "cut&cover" method, with screens on each side of the section and, to close the surface, a 2 meter high metal t russ will be placed, placing some alveolar slabs on these.
