De la ciudad a la sierra: el valor ambiental, los vínculos familiares y el modo de vida como factores de atracción de neorrurales en la sierra Norte de Sevilla

Abstract

En los últimos años los movimientos neorrurales se han incrementado en Andalucía. Aunque desde un punto de vista cuantitativo significan un porcentaje bajo con respecto a otro tipo de flujos, sin embargo, desde un punto de vista cualitativo adquieren importancia en cuanto a su papel como parte de procesos resilentes ante la despoblación que sufren algunas comarcas, sobre todo serranas. Así, este trabajo analiza la significación y el perfil de los neorrurales que han llegado a la comarca de la Sierra Norte de Sevilla entre el 2008 y 2018. Se ha pretendido con ello aportar una visión cualitativa del fenómeno, indagando en las razones de la elección del ámbito, en sus motivaciones para cambiar de residencia y en el grado de satisfacción que los neorrurales tienen con respecto a los nuevos recursos que les oferta la comarca así como el modo de vida.

In recent years, neorural movements have increased in Andalusia. Although from a quantitative point of view they represent a low percentage with respect to other types of flows, however, from a qualitative point of view they acquire importance in terms of their role as part of resilient processes in the face of the depopulation suffered by some regions, especially in the mountains. Thus, this paper analyzes the significance and profile of the neorurals who have arrived in the region of the North Mountainrangeof Seville between 2008 and 2018. For this purpose, the questionnaire-interview has been used as a social research methodology. Exactly, the answers obtained from 20interviews conducted with neorural residents in the study area have been analyzed. The results obtained define the existence of different profiles of neorural people, as well as show that the neorural phenomenon in the region is highly conditioned by the intrinsic characteristics of the territorial area, where the environmental value is a key element in the search for a better quality of life. Family relationshipand the possibility of developing new jobs and changing their lifestyle are also important reasons for those movements.
