Norito: traducción y análisis de las plegarias sintoístas japonesas

Abstract

El Trabajo de Fin de Grado ‘Norito: traducción y análisis de las plegarias sintoístas japonesas’ contempla el estudio de las oraciones que tan fielmente representan el espíritu del shinto, ‘el Camino del kami’, la religión propia del País del Sol Naciente; mediante una traducción detallada de cincuenta y cuatro de ellas en español; de manera que se puedan comprender con facilidad al mismo tiempo que sirven como vehículo para comenzar a entender la espiritualidad japonesa, con la que confluye su devenir histórico. Los norito son piezas asombrosas y vivas de la literatura japonesa, pensadas para ser recitadas y cantadas en honor a la divinidad a la que van dirigidas, -muchas veces incluso en nombre del propio Emperador durante las grandes festividades-, de manera que lleguen tanto al corazón del oficiante como al del kami, lo cual supondrá todo tipo de bendiciones para el pueblo japonés, los ‘hijos de la Gran Deidad’, y que a la vez permite, sin duda, que se dé una relación de tan íntima convivencia con la Naturaleza que puebla el archipiélago nipón.

The Final Degree Project ‘Norito: traducción y análisis de las plegarias sintoístas japonesas ’contemplates the study of the prayers that so faithfully represent the spirit of Shinto, 'the Way of kami', the religion of the Country of the Rising Sun; through a detailed translation in Spanish of fifty-four of them; so that they can be easily understood while serving as a vehicle to begin to understand Japanese spirituality, with which its historical evolution converges. The norito are amazing and living pieces of Japanese literature, designed to be recited and sung in honor of the divinity to which they are addressed, often even in the name of the Emperor himself during the great festivities, so that they reach both the heart of the officiant and that of the kami, which will mean all kinds of blessings for the Japanese people, the 'sons of the Great Deity', and that at the same time allows, without a doubt, that there is a relationship of such intimate coexistence with the Nature that populates the Japanese islands.
