dc.description.abstract | The aim of this academic work is to make an approach to the treatment of laughter that
Nietzsche makes in his work. Based on the keys that he offers about the dithyrambic choir in The
Birth of Tragedy, considering them the germ of a large part of his mature philosophy, we describe
the distinctive characteristics of his philosophical, literary, poetic and critical style with which he
will attack Western history, values and philosophy. We try to show how the philosophy for life,
culture and art of the future is shaped by its particular conception of humor and irony, taken as a
means to distance oneself, play freely with the tragic meaning of existence (in the presence of
disease, evil, absurdity and death) and thus be able to restore the health and strength necessary to
pronounce the definitive "Yes" that allows him to embrace his destiny. To accomplish all of this,
the role of joy, lightness and agility for dancing, singing and golden laughter will be decisive.
After having addressed the dimension and scope of his commitment to this attitude towards
existence and against everything that impoverishes it, we specify some of the most important links
between Nietzschean philosophy and the polyphonic novel, carnival and the theater of cruelty,
carnival arts inheriting the Apollonian-Dionysian imbrication characteristic of Greek tragedy. | es |
