Los Simpsons y el arte

Abstract

Los Simpsons es una de las series con más éxito a nivel global. ¿Quién no conoce a esta singular familia de Springfield? La mayoría de jóvenes de hoy en día han crecido viendo las divertidas aventuras de la familia y sus vecinos. Pero, ¿nos hemos planteado qué hace que sea tan exitosa esta serie? ¿Cómo puede llevar tantos años en pantalla y seguir teniendo tantos seguidores? Quizá es por la originalidad de la trama, por la comedia absurda que se desarrolla en muchos episodios o por la aparente sencillez de los mismos. Lo que es indiscutible es que cambió radicalmente la narrativa en televisión que conocíamos hasta su llegada, llegando a constituirse como un referente cultural absoluto cuyo poder e influencia ha llegado a los lugares más recónditos. No cabe duda de la influencia esta serie y de cómo se ha convertido en parte de la cultura actual. Reflexionaremos sobre esta cuestión en este trabajo.

The Simpsons is one of the most successful series worldwide. Who doesn't know this unique Springfield family? Most young people today have grown up watching the funny adventures of the family and their neighbors. But have we ever wondered what makes this series so successful? How can it have been on screen for so many years and still have so many fans? Perhaps it is because of the originality of the plot, the absurd comedy that takes place in many episodes or the apparent simplicity of the episodes. What is indisputable is that it radically changed the narrative in television that we knew until its arrival, becoming an absolute cultural reference whose power and influence has reached the most remote places. There is no doubt about the influence of this series and how it has become part of today's culture. We will reflect on this issue in this paper.
