Análisis del impacto ambiental de proyectos de edificios industriales. Huella de carbono e hídrica

Abstract

En España, la mayoría de las empresas son de medio y pequeño porte, representando 90% del total de las empresas existente, y actualmente no existen investigaciones sobre edificios que ese sector actúa. El presente trabajo presenta una metodología para la evaluación de la huella de hídrica (HH) y huella de carbono (HC) de proyectos de naves industriales en España mediante la identificación de las tipologías de edificios comunes y los elementos constructivos que generan mayor impacto en los proyectos. Para eso, se adaptará una metodología que analiza la construcción de urbanizaciones, jardines y viviendas para el análisis de edificios industriales. En la provincia de Sevilla, se realizará un análisis comparativo de las tipologías de edificios industriales y sus características identificadas a partir de una muestra de 87 proyecto de edificios industriales. La HH y HC fueron elegidas por presentaren un resultados directos y claros. Como resultado, fusionará los datos de las naves industriales con los precios (ambientales y económicos) posibilitando la comparación de las soluciones constructivas y también de las tipologías seleccionadas para identificar soluciones constructivas ya tradicionalmente utilizadas en sector que presentan mejores índices de coeficientes ambientales. Posibilitando ahorros de hasta 74,4% de HC y 54,4% de HH en los casos estudiados. Se propone también una clasificación normalizada de las unidades de obra para introducir la información medioambiental del producto.

In Spain, most of the companies are of medium and small size, representing 90% of the total existing companies, and there is currently no research on buildings that this sector operates. This paper presents a methodology for the evaluation of the water footprint (WF) and carbon footprint (CF) of industrial buildings projects in Spain by identifying the common building typologies and the construction elements that generate the greatest impact on the projects. For this purpose, a methodology that analyses the construction of housing developments, gardens and houses will be adapted for the analysis of industrial buildings. In the province of Seville, a comparative analysis of the typologies of industrial buildings and their characteristics identified from a sample of 87 industrial building projects will be conducted. The WF and CF were chosen for presenting direct and clear results. As a result, it will merge the data of the industrial buildings with the prices (environmental and economic) making possible the comparison of the constructive solutions and of the typologies selected to identify constructive solutions already traditionally used in the sector that present better indexes of environmental coefficients. This allows savings of up to 74,4% of HC and 54,4% of HH in the cases studied. A standardized classification of the work units is also proposed in order to introduce the environmental information of the product.
