poder realizar dicho tratamiento. | es |
dc.description.abstract | Dental reimplantation is a treatment that, although not frequently used, can be the most effective option
in those cases in which endodontic retreatment or apical surgery is not feasible, and the use of
osseointegrated implants is not indicated for some reason. It is therefore important to know the
indications and contraindications of this treatment, as well as the preoperative, operative and
postoperative clinical sequence of the technique.
A complete bibliographic review has been carried out in Pubmed and Scopus, with a total of 10 current
articles describing the procedure, the materials used and the results obtained after the use of this
technique.
In conclusion, we can say that intentional reimplantation is a very old technique that has been updated
over time without becoming obsolete, managing to maintain a longer life of the teeth in their functional
state, as long as it meets the clinical and radiographic requirements to be able to perform this treatment. | es |
