La identidad de la mujer. Una Cuestión Existencialista. Bajo la Mirada de Simone de Beauvoir

Abstract

En las siguientes páginas se discute el significado del concepto mujer, cuestionándonos sobre su identidad, y percatándonos de la situación en la que está confinada. En la lectura de este trabajo se nos plantearán diferentes preguntas sobre la libertad de la mujer, la diferencia sexual y si el género es construido o tiene una justificación natural. Para resolver estas preguntas nos apoyaremos en Simone de Beauvoir y en su obra El Segundo Sexo, donde, desde una mirada existencialista, abordará estos problemas que deben ser tratados en la lucha feminista. Así mismo entenderemos por qué la mujer es considerada la Otra universal, ya que no tiene medios para trascender, frente al varón que es el Uno, lo esencial. Y daremos una solución a esta opresión de la mujer, viendo que no hay una sola forma de ser, y que cada individuo debe elegir cómo proyectarse libremente, haciendo uso de la buena voluntad y superando el conflicto en el que están integrados ambos sexos, llegando a la reciprocidad.

The next text talks about the woman´s identity and it´s meaning. We´ll ask about her situation; the woman is confined. This work presents many questions; about woman´s freedom, the sexual difference and the genders. Is the gender constructed? Or maybe it´s just a natural justification. We´ll answer these questions, and for it, we´ll support in Simone de Beauvoir, and her work The Second Sex, where, from existencialism, she answers these conflicts, that must be work in the feminist struggle. By the other hand, we´ll understand why the woman is the universal Other, since the woman has not means to trascend. The woman is in front of the man, that is the One¸ the essential. In the next work, we´ll want to solve the situation of woman´s oppression. We´ll see that there is not only one way to be, because each person must choose how to freely project themselfs, for it, the person must use the volition and overcome the problems of both sexes, reaching reciprocity
