La experiencia de la literatura a través de Maurice Blanchot

Abstract

En el presente trabajo analizaremos y comentaremos las ideas fundamentales sobre las Letras y el Arte contenidas en El espacio literario, obra capital del filósofo francés Maurice Blanchot. Tras posicionar al autor en el lugar de la tradición desde el que nos habla, procederemos a desentrañar su concepción sobre los procesos de aquellas Escritura y Lectura que sean ontológicas, es decir, que vayan al ser de la obra literaria y/o poética. ¿Cómo es concebido este ser o esencia de la obra de arte? ¿Cómo experiencia el escritor el proceso de creación artística? ¿Cómo se vivía el arte en los tiempos en los que Blanchot discurre sobre el mismo y qué repercusiones tuvo sobre el rumbo de la actividad artística? ¿Cuál es la propia visión del autor sobre la experiencia y la esencia del arte? Al mismo tiempo que dialogaremos con estas cuestiones, trataremos de hacer contemporánea la lectura de la obra de Blanchot, ¿en qué sentido podría El espacio literario interpelarnos a día de hoy? ¿Podría llegar transformar la manera en que nos relacionamos con la literatura, la poesía y el arte?

In the present work we will analyze and comment the fundamental ideas about Letters and Art contained in The Literary Space, major work of the french philosopher Maurice Blanchot. After positioning the author in the place of tradition from which he speaks, we will proceed to unravel his conception of the processes of those Writing and Reading that are ontological, that is, that go to the being of the literary and/or poetic work. How is this being or essence of the work of art conceived? How does the writer experience the process of artistic creation? How was art lived in the times in which Blanchot discusses it and what repercussions did it have on the direction of artistic activity? What is the author's own vision of the experience and essence of art? At the same time that we will dialogue with these questions, we will try to make the reading of Blanchot's work contemporary. In what sense could The Literary Space challenge us today? Could it transform the way we relate to literature, poetry and art?
