Over the years, concern for the environment has increased due to climate change. Solving this is a task for all of us, from governments to citizens. Throughout time, studies have been carried out on how to improve our way of living to adapt it to new needs, from architecture by people like Ebenezer Howard or Le Corbusier. Due to the fact that we are using up all the planet’s resources, different conferences and declarations have emerged over the years on how to improve this situation, up to the most current one, and also of great value are the different theoretical approaches that bring together a series of strategies to improve the places where we live. In this way, eco-neighbourhoods are currently emerging, from a larger scale with Europe to a smaller scale, such as Spain. Even so, we must continue to learn from them, look at what surrounds us and think about whether what is happening in each of them and in the cities is still viable, depending on the changes that are taking place. To do this we need to know how to act, and that is why we need clear and concise directions from the highest levels of society, bearing in mind that neighbourhoods and cities must above all be places where people meet, where society and nature converge, always with the support of transport and buildings at their best.es
