dc.description.abstract | Electromyography is the science that studies muscle stimuli for further study or application, but how do we
obtain these stimuli in a way that we can interpret them?
This is where technology comes into play. An electronic circuit must be designed that is capable of collecting
these stimuli and representing them so that they can be functional. The idea of carrying out this project arose in
large part from taking the subject of Electronic Instrumentation, which provides the necessary tools to be able
to measure a physical magnitude, in principle unknown to the user.
The physical magnitude to be measured in this case is the muscle impulse signal or, in other words, the
electromyogram (EMG), whose main characteristics are voltage and frequency.
This paper describes the steps and studies necessary to be able to design a system capable of interpreting and
representing this measurement.
Subsequently, we come to another part of the project that is totally different from the first, which is the
construction and physical manufacture of this circuit in a compact form, in our case it will be a prototype.
At the end of the project, our designed, manufactured and assembled circuit must be able to be connected to
the body by means of electrodes, which will act as a transconductor and be able to obtain the muscle impulse
signal. | es |
