(Illumination to Communication Efficiency). | es |

technique for communications based on visible light (VLC), although they have great advantages such as the
high data transmission rate or resistance to interference between symbols, suffer from non-linearities, such as
high levels of PAPR (Peak-to-Average Power Ratio) or Cubic Metric (RCM), measurements that not only

the transmitted information.
This document presents the ACE technique used in the DVB-T2 standard to reduce the PAPR in OFDM

adaptation to reduce the RCM measurement instead of PAPR proposed in previous studies, it is proposed to
apply this algorithm for another scheme in VLC communications, ACO-OFDM through Matlab.
For the developed system, the effect it has on this cubic metric will be observed, as well as on other indicators
used for wireless optical communications, such as the Biasing Ratio or the ICE (Illumination to
Communication Efficiency). | es |
