dc.description.abstract | In this essay we have analyzed the international relations of the Faculty of Economic and
Business Sciences (hereinafter, FCEYE) of the University of Seville (hereinafter, US) in the last six
years, highlighting student mobility as the main focus of the study.
In order to achieve the results obtained, we’ve based from the yearly statistical data of the
US available for the time frame studied, and from the information provided by the International
Relations Office of the FCEYE and the Vice Dean of Research and Internationalization as main
sources of information, with which we have built a series of figures and explanatory tables that
summarize the statistical-descriptive analysis carried out.
The most significant results, shows that the number of agreements established through
ERASMUS programs (signed with European universities) is much higher to the detriment of
international agreements, which are established mainly with Latin American countries, ignoring
other important areas such as Asia or the USA. In addition, the number of total agreements has
decreased in recent years. On the other hand, we’ve observed that the FCEYE is among the five
centers of the University of Seville with greater student mobility. We have also collected
information through a survey of students who have participated in this type of FCEYE programs
in the present course.
With all this information obtained, we have concluded that it’s necessary that the FCEYE
provide more information and expand the range of options to carry out international exchanges
in a more efficient way, as well as enhance international agreements, both qualitatively and
quantitatively, improve the offer of degree and postgraduate in English, promote the mobility
of staff and teachers and have an adequate database to facilitate access and analysis of
information on the subject in hand. | es |
