Crítica social y reivindicación en el arte urbano. El efecto Banksy

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación se adentra en la disciplina del arte urbano, un fenómeno artístico que llena las calles de ciudades de todo el mundo y a través del cual se expresan multitud de mensajes que pretenden hacer reflexionar a la sociedad, por la que no es del todo aceptado. El carácter reivindicativo y de crítica social en el arte urbano ocupa la índole de este trabajo, que permitirá conocer más a fondo el valor intrínseco de este movimiento, a través de su origen, evolución y la obra de algunos de los artistas urbanos más importantes, indagando especialmente en la obra del enigmático Banksy, el plantillista más famoso del mundo.

This research work delves into the discipline of urban art, an artistic phenomenon that fills the streets of cities around the world and through which many messages are expressed that seek to make society reflect, for which it is not entirely accepted. The character of protest and social criticism in urban art occupies the nature of this work, which will allow us to learn more about the intrinsic value of this movement, through its origin, evolution and the work of some of the most important urban artists, digging especially into the work of the enigmatic Banksy, the world's most famous stencil artist.
