Estudio de inundación de Riofrio y análisis de actuaciones en la cuenca

Abstract

En el presente estudio, se pretende analizar el comportamiento de la cuenca del río Frío y especialmente a su paso por la pedanía lojeña de Riofrío. La intención principal es localizar las causas de las inundaciones acaecidas en la localidad en los últimos años, que han ocasionado multitud de daños económicos y personales. Especialmente, este trabajo se centra en la inundación que tuvo lugar el 14 de septiembre de 2018. Se parte de los datos iniciales que ha sido posible recabar, un posterior estudio hidrológico para caracterizar las precipitaciones en la localidad y la consiguiente implantación de todos los datos en un modelo bidimensional, empleando el software HEC-RAS. Finalmente, a partir de la detección de las causas principales de las inundaciones en Riofrío, se realiza un análisis de alternativas que implementar en la cuenca para poder paliar los efectos de las avenidas.

In this dissertation it will be analysed the evolution of the watershed of the river Frío, focusing on its way down the region of Riofrío, part of the district of Loja. Its main aim will be to pin down the causes of the floods occurred in the village on the past few years, which have been the reason for both huge economic and personal loses. It will be specially analysed the flood that took place on the 14th of September in 2018. The thesis will commence interpreting all the data that has been found on the subject and continue with a hydrological study on the precipitations in the area, followed by the implementation of those in a twodimensional model, using the software HEC-RAS. To conclude, once the causes of the floods in Riofrío are specified, a number of different solutions that can be carried out around the area of the watershed are described, to help minimise the effect of the floods.
