In the following work I am going to show the repercussions that some media advertising campaigns have in society. The feelings and emotions that these campaigns can generate and in consequence the importance of these feelings in human beings. The fact of memorizing an advertisement, is usually not so much for the object or the brand, but yes for the memory that the spot manages to create in our mind, so brands or companies make intensive studies about the ideas or values that can affect the consumer's brain. I have analyzed several well-known campaigns, one for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games created by P&G, another one for the restaurant brand Chipotle, "the coat rack" by Axe and finally one directed by Alex de la Iglesia for Fnac. These campaigns, due to their character and content, have created transcendence in the world of advertising, some of them originating positive feelings, and others, however, the opposite. It should be noted that I believe that countless companies play with the fact of surprising consumers in a negative way, getting to be on everyone’s chats. On the other hand, after analyzing the spots, the great campaigns created in recent years have a splendid reception by the public and really manage to create emotion in the viewers. |
