The project has been based on developing the Industry 4.0 application. in the management of the production process. To fully analize this concept, the document has been divided into several parts, each of them focusing on specific sections. It has been started by explaining what Industry 4.0 is based on, since in order to understand the solutions it provides, it is necessary to contextualize its appearance and the technologies on wich it is based on. In this section the appearance of the 4th Industrial Revolution is contextualized, covering the different phases that the Industry has gone through in recent times. Once the introduction has been made, the work focuses on the identification and description of the main digital enablers of Industry 4.0. Each of these technologies is explained for a perfect understanding, exposing what it is, the benefits they provide and the difficulties involved in their implementation. . This section, apart from developing content related to Industry 4.0. introduces the terminology that will be covered throughout the project. Contextualized Industry 4.0., the second section is responsible for developing the impact of Industry 4.0., in a specific way in the management of the production process. To do so, firstly, an analysis has been made of the way in which the production process is generally managed in the absence of new technology, in order to reach the challenges and limitations that it presents. Challenges in all areas of the process have been extracted from this analysis, from those related to the more technical part, as well as others related to people or the environment. Exposed the challenges that the production process faces, the central part of the project it is based on relating the solutions provided by Industry 4.0 with the challenges that the production process management presents. To do this, digital enablers have been enumerated again, but now defining and explaining in wich challenges they could help provide a solution. In order to not only base the project on a theoretical explanation, two examples of industries in which Industry 4.0 it is already a reality in the management of their production process. The real applications have been two Spanish industries, Seat and ASTI Mobile Robotics. It has been explained how they work, the digital enablers they have in operation and how this technology has allowed them to respond quickly to the arrival of the Coronavirus. Finally, a section has been included in which the conclusions obtained after the completion of the project have been listed.
