In this work, an evaluation of several radiopropagation models used for sensor networks has been carried out. A paper which concludes that the normal logarithmic shadow model with dynamic variance is the optimum for this type of networks has been used as a reference. In order to perform this work, it was necessary to take measures with a group of sensors provided by the commercial group Sigrow Agtech SL. The measures have been taken in an outer urban environment in Seville. After processing this data and using Matlab, it has been possible to obtain the necessary parameters to define the empirical models studied, as well as the representation of the different curves of the models that will serve us to determine the optimal model. |
