Abstract | Cet article porte sur les migrations et les mobilités académiques comme des formes
modernes de voyage et d’apprentissage. Il est basé sur un entretien biographique avec
un migrant d’origine mexicaine qui est enseignant-chercheur ... Cet article porte sur les migrations et les mobilités académiques comme des formes modernes de voyage et d’apprentissage. Il est basé sur un entretien biographique avec un migrant d’origine mexicaine qui est enseignant-chercheur et leader communautaire dans l’état du Texas, aux États-Unis. La première section développe le contexte des problématiques travaillées, en soulignant les lacunes actuelles dans la recherche sur les mobilités académiques des migrants. La section méthodologique justifie d’une manière rapide l’approche biographique employée pour produire et construire le récit du cas, qui est présenté dans la section suivante. Plusieurs dimensions importantes sont extraites du récit (la coopération, les contextes transfrontaliers et multilinguistiques, le dialogue, la perspective historique et comparative, et les universités inclusives), dans la perspective de construction d’une éco-formation par la mobilité interculturelle. Les avantages des méthodologies qualitatives et narratives seront mises en relief pour mieux connaître et comprendre des itinéraires des migrants dans des contextes universitaires. |
