La aparición de la subjetividad y la literatura en el periodismo ha creado fuertes críticas entre los periodistas ortodoxos que consideran solamente periodismo de calidad a aquel que sea objetivo, en el que el autor no refleje su opinión y simplemente se dedique a plasmar, de forma estructurada, la información una vez que está contrastada. Todo periodismo fuera de los límites de la objetividad y la pirámide invertida han sido duramente apaleados y sus periodistas vapuleados y tachados de poca profesionalidad. Sin embargo esta clase de periodismo no hace más que abrir y enriquecer un género que, a pesar de su necesidad, sufre el abandono por parte de la sociedad. Por ello decide tomar las figuras propias de la literatura, para hacerlo más atractivo y acercarlo al pueblo y hacer de esta forma que, mediante la subjetividad y opiniones del escritor, sientan empatía, reflexionen, duden y se creen una opinión propia como personas individuales. Este acercamiento de la sociedad a la noticia se hace mediante una narración en primera persona, con un tono íntimo y confesional, en el que el periodista nos acerque la información, no como simple observador, sino como partícipe y, de esta manera, consiga hacer formar parte al lector de los hechos y las reflexiones mediante un lenguaje cercano que le permita comprender la información narrada y opinar sobre ella. El receptor decide confiar en la veracidad de la noticia gracias al tono honesto con el que el periodista la transmite. Para estudiar este fenómeno he utilizado de ejemplo a la autora de periodismo gonzo, Gabriela Wiener, quien consigue un acercamiento y empatía con sus lectores a través de la narración de su vida de una forma confesional y honesta que permite al público sentirse partícipe de los hechos y verse representado en ellos al hablar de situaciones actuales y personas comunes con las que encontramos una gran similitud. |
