Esas son las dos grandes estrategias o líneas de actuación que puede seguir una empresa. La diferenciación es cara y la reducción de costes, también. La única divergencia se plasma en un pequeño matiz: caro económicamente contra caro socialmente. Y en este punto, todos tenemos muy claro quién suele ganar la partida. Desgraciadamente, la existencia de recursos limitados hace que tendamos a maximizar el rendimiento de los mismos. Por ello, un producto menos respetuoso con el medioambiente, la sociedad o el entorno en general, pero más barato, es mejor. ¿Por qué? Porque los productos "respetuosos" están considerados "caros". Pero la reducción de costes para las empresas que intentan realizar todas las actividades de su cadena de valor de una forma respetuosa es bastante complicada, ya que para ello deberían incurrir en el tipo de acciones iría en contra de su visión. En un contexto en el que la concienciación crece así como el consumidor proactivo e informado, empresas cuya actividad es ofrecer moda de calidad y sostenible han surgido en los últimos años. De esta forma, el estudio del comportamiento de compra de moda sostenible se articula indispensable para poder realizar una estrategia con coherencia y que permita anticipar y así satisfacer las nuevas necesidades de los clientes. Este estudio pretende hacer una aproximación tanto de carácter teórico, como práctico de dicho término así como su posicionamiento en las mentes de los consumidores y los no consumidores de moda sostenible. |
