This paper reviews the analysis of the narrative structure of Juan Goytisolo's Juan sin Tierra account. It is propably one of the contemporaneous sapnish novels where the expresion of creative experimentation looks for new discourses not only ideologycal ones but also specifically literary ones. On the other hand, a freer method of didactic reading has been tried regarding the critical content of the narrative, so that the analysis can be of help as a guide but without annuling the creative capability of the reader. This essay tries to combine the traditionally assignated function to the literary criticism with a new sense leading to a reading where motivation takes first place. |
