Este trabajo explora qué elementos del meme afectan al éxito de su difusión. El trabajo combina metodologías cualitativas y cuantitativas para el análisis de una muestra de memes políticos en España. Los resultados muestran que hay tres elementos básicos en el éxito del meme: el contenido emocional, un humor sofisticado y el capital social del creador.
