Analizando estos aspectos se presentarán los matices de las interacciones entre el mecenazgo y los pintores argentinos en torno a Mallorca Known is the presence of Argentine painters in Mallorca from the First World War thanks to the mediation of Anglada Camarasa. Known is the presence of Argentine painters in Mallorca from the First World War thanks to the mediation of Anglada Camarasa. However, the activity developed by patrons and collectors belonging to the so-called Creole cosmopolitanism, who supported the work of Argentine artists by facilitating their participation in contests and exhibitions, has been little studied. Thus, it was possible to disseminate the work of practically unknown artists. In addition, collecting extended to a more intimate patrimony that shows that its passage through the island was not accidental, but vital. Analyzing these aspects will present the nuances of the interactions between patronage and Argentine painters around Mallorca |
