La relación entre los principales factores productivos de una región es, junto con sus niveles de dotación, uno de los elementos determinantes del crecimiento económico en distintos territorios. A pesar de que estas teorías empiezan a estar asentadas entre la comunidad científica, existen todavía escasos trabajos empíricos que hayan estudiado la forma en que estos factores se relacionan y como esta relación entre capital humano y físico afecta al crecimiento de la productividad entre las regiones. Este trabajo supone una primera aproximación, mediante la estimación de una función translog y de una translog ampliada con términos de tercer orden, al análisis de cómo las relaciones entre estos factores y la propia dotación de ellos afectan al grado de incidencia de cada factor sobre el crecimiento de la productividad en las provincias españolas, en el periodo comprendido entre 1985-2006. |
