estudios basados en estadísticas que lo confirman. Es un problema que ... La diferencia salarial entre hombres y mujeres es un fenómeno muy debatido actualmente en los medios de comunicación, y sobre el que existen numerosos estudios basados en estadísticas que lo confirman. Es un problema que existe no solo en España, sino también en muchos otros países democráticos y desarrollados de Europa y del resto del mundo. Estas diferencias se han mantenido históricamente en el tiempo sin que la sociedad ni las autoridades hayan podido corregirlas. La discriminación salarial es el principal exponente de las desigualdades por razón de género en el mercado laboral, por lo que en este trabajo se pretende conocer las diferencias salariales entre hombres y mujeres en función de varios factores, como el tipo de jornada, el tipo de contrato y el sector de actividad en que operan, pues constituye el primer paso para analizar la igualdad de mujeres y hombres en un aspecto tan relevante como es la actividad laboral. |
