Reconstruye su topografía sacra, cerrada y unitaria, en el centro las naves de la catedral ... Primera parte de la investigación relativa a la organización del espacio litúrgico de la capilla mayor de la catedral de Sevilla. Reconstruye su topografía sacra, cerrada y unitaria, en el centro las naves de la catedral mudéjar y su cambio de emplazamiento en el segundo tercio del siglo XV. La organización y disposición del presbiterio en la cabecera y el coro capitular a los pies del espacio litúrgico, acotados por cierres perimetrales en la mezquita cristianizada manifiesta una organización cultual acorde a la disposición de éstos en la catedral gótica toledana y las transformaciones realizadas en otras españolas a partir del siglo XIV. La memoria documental de esta capilla mayor incorpora noticias e informaciones de su mobiliario y ajuar litúrgico. |
